The Jack London Museum & Cabin tells the story of Jack London’s adventures from his time in the Klondike and the subsequent hunt for the aforementioned cabin where he lived during the winter of 1897. In 1897, Jack London spent a year in the Klondike. He tried his hand at mining, but mostly spent time coming up with stories that would one day make him famous. His winter was spent in a cabin near Henderson Creek. 60 years after abandoning this site to get relief from his scurvy, Dick North searched and discovered the cabin where Jack London once lived.
